History of Weickert Allison Jeter

September, 1983: Former IRS agents, Bruce Goddard and Brent Weickert form
Goddard, Weickert & Co., Inc. (GWC) and purchase the tax practice of their
former employer Richard Shaw.
October, 1987: Mike Allison joins GWC as a full-time employee after working
on a part-time basis the previous tax season.
August, 1989: Bruce Goddard resigns to become a stockbroker for Crowell
Weedon and later Salomon Smith Barney.
December, 1989: Randy Jeter joins GWC after working on a part-time basis the
previous tax season.
December, 1990: Corporate name is changed to Weickert Allison Jeter (WAJ).
October, 1994: Office moves from downtown to Covina to its present location at
1074 Parkview Drive.
March, 1995: Pat Budmon is promoted to office manager after seven years of
tax season employment.
October, 1995: Brent Weickert resigns and accepts controller position with
Penwal Industries.
December, 1995: David Allison, CPA joins WAJ, leaving his position as staff
accountant at Singer, Lewack, Greenbaum and Goldstein in West Los Angeles .
August, 2001: WAJ acquires the tax practice of Cindy Bollinger, CPA located
in Walnut.
August, 2001: WAJ acquires the Big Bear City tax practice of Kris Foulkes, EA.
June, 2003: Big Bear office moves to its current location at 480 Division Drive
December, 2003: WAJ acquires the Covina tax practice of Michael Buck, CPA.
December 1, 2006: Debbie Watkins, CPA and Art Rodriguez, EA of Watkins &
Associates join WAJ
January 1, 2007: Dave Allison becomes a full partner and shareholder of WAJ
January 1, 2009: acquired former tax clients of John Moyer, CPA who retired
due to health reasons.
September 1, 2010: Joyce Lyons, EA joined WAJ bringing over 1500 individual
and business clients to the firm
